Dr Simone Baker
PhD (Clinical Neuropsychology) BA (Hons) DipTeach MAPS MCCN MCCP
Clinically, Simone specialises in the treatment of anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, and stress related issues, and has significant expertise working with individuals and families across the lifespan in the assessment and treatment of mental health and neuro-behavioural disorders in community, hospital and forensic settings.
Simone also specialises in neuropsychological and cognitive assessments for adults and children with a range of learning disorders, neurological conditions, injuries, illnesses, and disabilities. In particular, she has advanced skills and knowledge in the assessment of decision making capacity, adjustment to trauma and complex case management.
Simone has also completed training in the Triple P positive parenting program, and has extensive experience working with parents, educators, young children and adolescents.
Simone is Psychology Board approved for Higher Degree Program , 5 +1 Registrar Program, 4 +2 Internship and Work in Addition to Higher Degree. She has provided supervision and lectured at The University of Queensland, Griffith University and Queensland University of Technology.
Simone is a member of the Australian Psychological Society College of Clinical Psychologists, and the College of Clinical Neuropsychologists. She is registered with the Medicare program and Private Health Insurers
